I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend- I know for us it was wonderful to have 3 full days off work. We spent the weekend up at Mom and Ralph's house, joined by my sister Allison and her family, as well as my brother Anthony and his family. It was a little crazy, 5 kids (all under the age of 5) and 8 adults in one house, but we had a great time.
First picture, I wanted to give a quick update on Ben's eye. The picture below is from Saturday, and as you can see it is pretty bruised on the eyelid. We took the tape off yesterday and thankfully it looks like it may just leave a tiny little scar! The cut really healed nicely and the bruising is pretty much gone.

Ben really started enjoying coloring for the first time this weekend. He would spend a consecutive 15-20 minutes hunkered over his piece of paper with his nose about an inch away from it (as seen above), very carefully making markings with his favorite green crayon. That is practically a lifetime for a 1 year old!

These are my sister Allison's two little girls. Alexa on the left will be 2 in August and Anna on the right is 5! Alexa loves saying "cheeeeeese" when someone takes her picture:)

I wish I could figure out how to rotate this picture, but oh well, you get the idea. This is my almost 8 month old niece Violet. Check out those thighs and arms!!! I know you want to reach in and squeeze her! She is such a happy baby.
